Rob Ford’s Don Bosco “Gravy-Train” Eagles lost for the second time to the Chaminade College School Gryphons this season.
The game was rarely in doubt as Chaminade star Tevaun Smith returned the opening kick off of the game 80 yards for a touchdown. The TD was one of three on the afternoon for Smith.
Trailing 21 to 0 at half, the eagles were never able to get things going on offense, having to resort to the pass game in the second half, clearly an offensive approach they were not comfortable with.
Marcus Grandison, Chaminade defensive star, scored one touchdown and was probably the best player on the field on Thursday.
Mayor Rob Ford will probably have to relinquish his coaching duties next year due to his business schedule as the mayor of Toronto.
