Outstanding Offensive Player of the Week
CJ Zsoldos – Runningback – London Beefeaters
CJ captures the offensive award this week in the Beefeaters 28-13 victory over the Brampton Bears.
The AB Lucas grad was the work horse for London with 13 carries for 72 yards, a 5.5 average. Intermittent rain, sometimes heavy, and a gusting wind couldn’t stop CJ from pounding in 3 touchdowns.
Outstanding Defensive Player of the Week
Sanmi Adereti – Defensive Lineman – Brampton Bears
Sanmi collected the Bears first award in their first OFC season. As are all the Bears, the rookie collected 21 defensive points in Brampton’s 28-13 loss to the visiting London Beefeaters. He was credited with 7 solo tackles and 5 assisted tackles. He also has a special teams tackle.
Outstanding Special Teams Player of the Week
Jean-Alexandre Erroa – Returner – St Leonard Cougars
Jean-Alexandre is awarded the special teams award in the Cougars 16-12 victory over the visiting Ottawa Sooners. The 5’8” 175 pounder returned 3 kick offs 79 yards giving St Leonard good field position.
