At the young age of six, Adam Kaminski started his football career.

Five years have passed since then and during that time he has won an Ontario Varsity Football League (OVFL) championship, as well as several defensive and offensive MVP awards.

Adam continues to play with the Cambridge Lions in the OVFL.

The fifth grader spends his offseason training four days a week in a gym, and two days running at the KW Track and Field.

The Lion’s goal for the Ontario Prospect Challenge (OPC) is to get stronger in his position.

“I hope that the OPC will help me improve my football skills,” added Adam.

On the field, his idol is the tight end for the New England Patriots, Rob Gronkowski, because he is always first to practice and last to leave, as well as training hard and it shows on the field.

“He is a great player and contributes to the team with whatever skills are needed on the field,” commented the Lion.

“I love to play football because I am allowed to show my skills on the field that I cannot show anywhere else,” explained Adam. “I love to tackle and hit hard and football allows me to do that.”

Advocating for football prospects one story at a time.
