Ontario Prospect Challenge profile: St. Stephen’s Meeks has a dream

Today CFC will feature Ontario Prospect Challenge participant Graydon Meeks.

Position: Linebacker

Height/Weight: 5’10”/165lbs

School status as of September 2013: Grade 10

Current Team: St. Stephen’s Royals

Meeks will participate in the inaugural year of the Ontario Prospect Challenge (OPC), along with some of the best players Ontario has to offer. “I chose to participate in the Ontario Prospect Challenge because I have a dream of going on to play post-secondary football,” says Meeks. “I though this event would be a perfect way to promote myself to some of the colleges and universities that may be watching.”

The OPC will provide a unique opportunity for players to not only be seen by influential coaches, but also develop a reputation within the football community here in Ontario.

When asked what he hopes to accomplish during the OPC workouts, Meeks said that, “To be the best out there, make the team and do my best, compete, and show my leadership abilities. Finally, I want to have some fun and see if we get the win.”

Tryouts (Phase 1) for the Ontario Prospect Challenge begin September 21st.  A ‘one-time’ tryout fee allows you to compete in as many tryouts as you wish.   CLICK HERE for registration information.
