The Markham Raiders Junior Varsity football team is looking to come back from a disappointing 2011 season where they lost their final four games to fall to 2-6 on the season.
After two close losses to start the season, the Raiders rebounded with two thrilling victories to bring their record to 2-2, but they could not find the win column again. In order to improve in 2012, the Raiders will need players to show leadership and experience to help Head Coach Patrick MacCalmont and avoid falling off a cliff again.
Matthew Prucha was a reliable force at the quarterback position, throwing for 9 touchdowns and 5 interceptions, and will return to the team again. Leading rusher Graeme Ward, however, will make the jump to the varsity team.

Advocating for football prospects one story at a time.
