The Prairie Football Conference kicks off the season this weekend, and the Edmonton Wildcats are hosting cross-town rivals the Edmonton Huskies at Clarke Stadium. The game is Saturday, August 15 at 7pm.
“The home opener is always a great game, but to be playing the Huskies for the first game adds a whole new level of intensity”, says Wildcats President John Wojcicki.
The Wildcats offense will be lead by 5th year Quarterback Jordan Olson, who lead the PFC for passing yards in the 2014 season. 5th year Receivers Landyn Vick and Ryan Smith will also be relied on to move the ball. The defense will be lead by 5th year Lineman Marcus Goods.
Both the Huskies and Wildcats narrowly missed the playoffs in the 2014 season, and are eager to start the season with a win.
Advocating for football prospects one story at a time.
