EDMONTON WILDCAT FOOTBALL CLUB
The 2016 PFC season kicks off this weekend! The Calgary Colts will be coming up to Edmonton to take on the Edmonton Wildcats in our first regular season game!
The Wildcats are coming into the season eager to improve on our 1-7 record from last year. This game will see 4th year Colton Hippe come in as starting quarterback, giving the ‘Cats a new leadership on the offensive side of the ball. Alongside him will be 4th year Running Back Bray Josue who led the Wildcats rushing last year with 72 carries for 522 yards and 4 touchdowns. The receiving core will see the return of Brandon Olson who was the leading receiver in the conference in 2015 before he had a season ending injury.
The defensive side of the ball will rely on CJFL Rookie of the Year and All Canadian Defensive Back Tony Savchuk who is returning for his second season. Also returning is DB Jayden Dalke who lead the conference in Defensive points in 2015.
Kick-off is Saturday, August 13 at 7:00pm at Clarke Stadium.
