Another great high school football season in BC is now in the books. The Terry Fox Ravens are the 2016 AAA provincial champions in a thriller of a game which ended in overtime 17-14 against the Notre Dame Jugglers. What can be best described as a game that had the star players make some key plays as well as bust some huge plays. In the end the Ravens came out on top.
In AA action, the Seaquam Seahawks were the victor, 35-15, over the Vernon Panthers. Seaquam got a fast start and didn’t let off going into the half at 21-0. Vernon wouldn’t score until the 3rd quarter. The Seahawks didn’t let this one get away and finished the game with a 35-15 win. It was a milestone as the team won the AA Subway Bowl 10 years ago.
Tier 2 action showed Eric Hamber as the champion, 33-14, over Pitt Meadows.
