The BCFC’s Westshore Rebels have named Scott Mennie as their new head coach for the 2013 season.
Mennie takes over from John Cardilicchia, who stepped down due to personal reasons.
Cardilicchia was the 2012 winner of the BCFC’s Ranji Mattu Memorial Coach of the Year award after guiding the Rebels to a 7-3 record in the regular season.
Mennie, a former CJFL All-Star playing for the Rebels, spent last season as the team’s defensive coordinator.
