Rouge et Or has all elements for CEGEP recruit

Mirabel tight end/fullback recently joins RSEQ team’s 2015 class.

One place had everything Benjamin Garand-Gauthier was looking for to continue his gridiron career and academic pursuits.

Recently, the 6’1, 230 pound tight end/fullback from Mirabel, Quebec committed to the Laval Rouge et Or. Garand-Gauthier will join the team for the 2015 RSEQ season.

“I decided to choose Laval because all the elements that make it the best place for me to continue my career,” expressed Garand-Gauthier of his commitment.  “I love the city of Quebec, I have more chance to get into my program and I love the mentality of this team.”

Recently, Garand-Gauthier completed his CEGEP career with Division 2 team, Lionel-Groulx Nordic.  This past season, he racked up 188 yards on 42 carries and two rushing touchdowns.  Additionally, he had 241 yards on 20 receptions and two receiving touchdowns.
