Jordan Heather (History), Bishop’s Gaiters’ quarterback, is the offensive player of the week in the RSEQ. He lead his team to their first win since 2010 against their crosstown rivals, the Vert & Or from Université de Sherbrooke (8th ranked team in the country). The 5th year player from Oromocto, New Brunswick, completed over 70% of his passes for an impressive total of 387 passing yards and 3 touchdowns passes.

In the 48-3 win against the Concordia Stingers, the Carabins defense limited its opponents to only 101 yards of total offense. Archambault lead the defensive squad with 11 tackles, all recorded on his own (solos) as well as 1 quarterback sack and a tackle for loss.

Boris Bede (Physical and Health Education), kicker of the Rouge et Or from Université Laval, wins the special team player of the week award in the RSEQ after a solid overall performance in a 32-8 win against the McGill Redmen. The Toulon (France) native excelled in all three phases of the kicking game (field goals, punts and kick-offs). He was 4 for 4 on field goals (21, 26, 14 et 12 yards), maintained a 53,7 yards average on 3 kick offs and a spectacular 44,8 yards average on 13 punts. 5 of those punts were also downed inside the opponents’ 20 yards line.
