LOGINWith the arrival of 2015, indoor circuit training has begun for athletes looking to further their education and football careers in the Quebec CEGEP system.
This past December, former CFL players Adrian Davis, and Shawn Mayne hosted their third annual Athletic Academy Showcase Event in Brossard, Quebec.
Over 130 players were in attendance showing off their football skills where Davis, Mayne, and their staff putting them through an intense pace in front of CEGEP representatives from across Quebec.
In conversing with a staff member from a powerhouse school, he mentioned the importance of attending these types of events because of the fertility of the Quebec territory. Every year, there are kids who fall through the cracks of the initial recruiting cycle that get recognized from a combine like Athletic Academy.
