Tyler Varga shocked many last week when he announced last week that he was leaving the Western University Mustangs. It was not shocking however when the Yale Bulldogs announced Varga as part of their Class 2016 recruits.
Varga will have to sit out the 2012 season as per NCAA regulations. The honour role student will continue his quest to become a medical doctor.
The Bulldogs were 5 and 5 in 2011.
