CARLETON RAVENS COACHING POSITION
The job will run from May 1st 2017 to April 30th 2018.
Carleton Ravens football is looking to expand its list of coaches by 1 position. Having started a program from scratch in 2013 the Ravens have continued to develop and improve over the past four years. The team is coming off an impressive 6 – 2 season and OUA semi-final berth after hosting its first home play-off game upon its return to USports action.
Full time one year casual appointment.
- Defensive front seven coach (Linebackers or Defensive Line)
This position will be for Coaching / Recruiting and report to the Head Football Coach
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Coaching on the defensive side of the ball
- Working in conjunction with the defensive coordinator on weekly game plans
- Off-season individual sessions in the indoor fieldhouse
- Prepare and run meetings for positional group
- Recruiting
-travel to events
-attending games, combines and practices
-contacting coaches
-evaluating prospects - Setting up and organizing recruiting visits to campus
- Assisting in any in–season or off-season duties that may arise, including elite camps, scheduling, etc.
Qualifications:
Elite level coaching experience with a recruiting background is a preference. A university degree is required for this position. Knowledge of DVSport and Front Rush are an asset but not essential. Bilingualism an asset to the position. Driver’s license is essential.
