Last night while I was looking forward to an easier week at work with my head coach being away I found myself answering one of the most exciting phone calls in my life..so far. An invite to the Hamilton tiger cats camp in at McMaster University. I caught a train at 5:45 the next morning and now here I am. Since next year is my draft year, I’m here totally for the experience and I am very fortunate to have this opportunity to see how things are done and what they look for. I’ll be taking part in practices starting tomorrow going through drills. I don’t know how many days I will be here, and how much I will get to do, but going from getting ready to go to work in the morning to being around players like Kevin Glenn in the blink of an eye is pretty surreal. Hopefully I can take away as much as possible from this experience to help make my team better for this up coming CIS season. I will post more after a couple of practices have taken place.
