Québec claimed top spot after going undefeated in round robin mini-game play. Saskatchewan whose lone loss came at the hands of Québec claimed second place while Atlantic Canada finished third.
The event not only served to help prepare and select Football Canada’s Women’s National Team, competing at the 2013 International Federation of American Football (IFAF) Women’s World Championship but also as both a coaching and player development opportunity. Deserving female coaches were paired with a national team coach who served as a mentor to aid their development. The event also featured a coaching clinic, as well as a group practice developing skills, drills and fundamentals.
